NB: Registration: Our system is geared for online registration. If you do not wish to proceed this way, take a look at the Registration Form and supply the details required in written form via conventional mail with your cheque. 1: A Corporate Entry is more suitable where experts would like to list an organisation or company name with a named contact. It is particularly suitable (but is not limited to) organisations representing a number of experts, as the Corporate Interactive Registration Form allows for multiple expert entries, if practicable.

2: Please complete all compulsory fields. There is an optional field relating to lawyer referees. Your organisation will increase the number of instructions it receives if you provide details of two lawyer referees (who may be from the same firm) in the corporate profile. Please include contact names, telephone numbers an email if possible. Such referees must have instructed at least one expert from the company previously. The company administrator must create a unique user name and password in order to allow secure access to the profile in future.

NB: Selected Accreditations: Users of the site will be reassured by the expert's membership of an accreditation organisation or professional body (British Medical Association, Academy of Experts, etc.) Provide details within your profile & we will include the appropriate logo(s) & link(s).

3: The information supplied in the profile is uploaded directly to the Register and can be viewed online immediately. The profile can be accessed at will with your user name and password. If either are forgotten or lost, click here. A sample corporate profile can be seen by clicking here. As can be seen, all our corporate entries have a full page profile. Postcodes are always linked through Multimap whenever possible, pinpointing the company location for site users.

4: If all is in order, we will register the company for a period of 12 calendar months following the date that the profile was uploaded to the Register. The company administrator is thereafter able to update or modify the profile directly and instantly, without interference from X-Pro.

5: A company logo may be included in the profile, and is forwarded electronically with the form. Website and email details may also be included, and we will provide direct links to these in the company profile.

6: OUR POLICY: All updates are free, as is any advertising carried out on the company's behalf. We don't believe in simply providing a list, and we therefore have a proactive policy in promoting our experts which will involve regular contact with UK lawyers. Company experts are eligible to join the X-Pro Seminar Panel

7: Articles / Papers: Once registered, you have the option to upload your articles for inclusion in your profile. If not in Acrobat (pdf.) format, we'll convert them for viewing by site users. There is no charge for the inclusion of articles. You may wish to upload your CV here too.

8: For an annual supplemental fee, experts can include a short 'soundbite' which can be a very useful marketing tool, as well as allowing you to expand upon your skills and experience. Go to the individual sample profile to see (and hear) how this works. Again, files are uploaded after registration. Please note that the quality of your clip depends on the source. We are not able to improve the quality of a clip with poor sound.

9: X-Pro is the first online register worldwide to offer embedded video in experts' profiles. Web video is a hot topic on the Internet right now & we feel that many experts will take advantage of this exciting new facility. Click here to see what can be achieved with just a one minute clip. Film length must be a maximum of 1½ minutes in duration and is uploaded to us after registration. Completed clips featuring video and / or stills are ideal. Please remember that we're lawyers, not film makers, but we may be able to help you put something together. For example, you may wish to upload a separate sound clip - perhaps a voiceover - which we are able to combine with a licensed soundtrack free of charge. Email us with your ideas and we'll see what we can do for you. We'll consult with you before publication to ensure that you're happy with the results. There is no charge for this extra assistance. Please note that the quality of your clip depends on the source. We are not able to improve the quality of a clip with poor sound/film.

10: All experts are automatically subscribed to our "Callout" facility - go to our "Contact/Help" page for further details. If you wish to opt out of "Callout", let us know and we will unsubscribe you.

11: Fees are payable in £ sterling:

12: Payment can be made by using a credit or debit card through our secure server - fast, efficient and safe.

13: Your Membership: Once paid, fees are deemed non-returnable. When you initially make your payment an annual subscription is set up on the secure server. You can check your profile hit rate at any time online, so you can come to an informed decision as to whether X-Pro has given you value for money. If you do nothing the subscription will renew for another 12 months, otherwise you may cancel your subscription and the renewal will not take place. It is for this reason that experts must make a note of their renewal date.

14: We reserve the right to remove experts from the Register if deemed appropriate.
