Application by Guardian News Media & Ors (Supreme Court, 27/01/10):
The Court quashed measures introduced by Gordon Brown to freeze the assets of al-Qaeda suspects, heavily criticising them in the process. In a second ruling the court lifted the anonymity orders granted to the men after a challenge by media organisations.
